Introduction:
Oracle is a leading company in the database and web services marketplace and these are the topics that their certifications cover.
Editor's Notes:
These certifications are obviously not vendor-neutral and will do very little for you unless you are or will be in an Oracle environment. If this is the case, then these are very desirable certifications to have and can command high salaries. With the 9i certification track, Oracle is beginning to use simulation and lab type tests for some exams.

An Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) consists of 2 exams. DBA OCA is a prerequisite. Must also complete 1 Oracle University course. |
| DBA OCM |

An Oracle Certified Master (OCM) is for advanced database administrators. DBA OCP and 2 Oracle University advanced courses are a prerequisite to do the practicum. The practicum is a 2 day lab exam. |
